Health & Safety
Strobe Lighting
Strobe lighting effects are used during this show. Guests that may suffer from epilepsy or are affected by visual light stimulation effects are advised to contact the ranger staff prior to embarking on the walk.
Mobility
This experience takes place outside on a 1km trail that is levelled gravel, and dirt, including stairs and slopes. We do our best remove to snow and grit the trail, but the trail can be prone is slippery sections.
These paths are not recommended for people with reduced mobility.
What to Bring
Dress for the Weather
Vallea Lumina is an outdoors experience that runs rain or shine. Just like our lost hikers, dress for the weather! Bundle up on those colder nights, and bring a rain jacket when it’s wet out.
We recommend:
- Winter boots + warm socks
- Warm waterproof jackets
- Toque or Beanie
- Gloves or Mittens
Rain ponchos and hand & toe warmers are available for purchase from our Café.
What to Leave At Home
No Umbrellas are not permitted on the trail to avoid blocking the view of other guests. On rainy nights, the lost hikers recommend bringing a rain jacket instead.
Strollers are not permitted due to the unpaved nature of the trail, but carriers for the little ones are a great alternative.
Due to the sensitive natural habitat of the Illuminated Salmon, pets are not permitted to join.
The Adventure Group is a smoke-free, vape-free, alcohol & drug free environment.
